Launched in La Spezia the second unit of the stylish Riva sport-fly, delivered to her owner.

The second unit of the new Riva sport-fly, an exciting combination of innovative vision and legendary hallmarks, slipped into the water in La Spezia, the shipyard where models in the 76 to 110-foot range are built and which has recently also been used to hold private boat shows for numerous customers who want to visit the new models. Riva 88’ Folgore,which means flash of lightning, maybe also because in total its two MTU 2000 M96 16cylinder engines can deliver up to 5276 hp in total (their is also a less powerful version available with 4870 hp in total), which results in a possible top speed of 39 knots. Heir to one of the brand’s top best sellers, introduces novelties in the exterior and interior design, in the ergonomics, and in the materials used, combining them with iconic details from Riva’s legendary history, where the Riva DNA is carefully and ambitiously transferred into the new nautical Zeitgeist, still with the iconical brands mahogany inlays and steel decorations.
All this sheer power is controlled by innovative systems developed by the Feretti Group and Simrad to navigate the vessel safely, like multifunctional contol system, joystick, and dynamic position system.
26.92 m (88.4 ft) long and 6.31 m (20.8 ft) wide, the yacht is a product of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm headed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta that designs the entire Riva range, the Product Strategy Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department.

Riva 88′ Folgore ist die neue Riva-Sportfly aus der Werft in La Spezia.
Der magnetische Reiz ihres Designs liegt in der Symbiose zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart,und der Überführung der klassischen Riva-DNA in den neuen nautisch-maritimen Zeitgeist, mit innovativen Materialien wie Carbon und traditionellen Stilelementen, vom Mahagoni-Inlay bis zu dekorativem Stahl.
26.92 m (88.4 ft) lang and 6.31 m (20.8 ft) in der Breite voran getrieben von bis zu 5276 PS Gesamtleistung, von 2 MTU M96 16Zylinder Motoren, eine Version mit insgesamt 4870 ist ebenfalls konfigurierbar, erscheinen einem da wie ein Blitz der über die Wellenkämme schiesst. Nicht ganz von ungefähr, Folgore bedeutet im Italienischen Blitz.
